Our Response:
- The only way to have a love that will last a lifetime and a great marriage is to love the Lord Jesus first. Do you have that personal relationship with Him? If not, then why not do that today? Remember it is as simple as ABC! Admit to God you are a sinner, Ask for His forgiveness, Believe Jesus is God’s Son, Confess Him as Savior & Commit Your Life to Him as Lord (the Boss).
- In order for you to grow, you need to be plugged in to a church. If you do not have a church home, and God has called you to be a part of Petal FBC, then step across the line today and join! We need you and you need us!
- Take a hard look at your family: What kind of Foundation are Building? Look at each of three areas
Loving: Where Do you Need to Show Love and Express Love better in Your Home? Embracing / Encouraging / Engaging / Equipping
Learning Where do you need to help your children learn and what are you teaching them?
Laughing… Name a time you laughed with your family in this past week… if you can’t think of one, plan a time to!!
- How are you doing in giving them wings to fly? How you are helping your children/grandchildren have a heavenly mindset? How can that change this week?
- Can they follow your example of being a Christ-Follower?
- Do you children know what you expect of them? Sit down and ask them and talk about the Lord’s and your expectations by looking at the Word of God and this series.
- How are you teaching your children to Embrace the presence of Christ in their lives? Share with them examples of how you are doing just that. Show them what that looks
like in your life – the good and the bad – be honest & open.
