- CI has prioritized sustainability
- 1 in 5 commuter commuter students do not drive alone (drive in carpool, or use transit)
- Trying to figure out how do we make parking more efficient
- Making sure that CI continues to be very walkable is very important
- Possible price for parking permits would be more expensive for more convenient lots and further lots being less expensive
- Trying to make riding a bike easier/more convenient – possibly adding “Bike Share” for the long term plan
- Long term idea of a campus shuttle that would circulate within the campus – this would help the further lots to be more accessible
- Make students more aware of the programs that we currently have – students get 50% off transit passes
- Possible reward program to incentivize students to carpool, bike or use transit
- Possibly allow students to use campus ID card to pay for Uber or Lyft
- Possibly have free transit for students

Additional documents attached below
SWOT for Active Shooter Training
Strengths
- Marketing was better, A-frames
- “Poki” painted on A-frame caught people’s attention
- Officers looked the role
- Good attendance
- Location – Petit Salon
Weaknesses
- Not telling students that the guns were not loaded before they came out
- Time of day (1:30 – 3:00) and too long
- Location of training
- RSVP – turns students away
Opportunities
- Possibly having it in front of Broome would catch more people’s attention
- More common location where students were at (more realistic)
- Having two separate sessions – different time of day (morning/evening) or one Tuesday and one Wednesday
- Once a semester
- Making it an hour long
- Starting at 1:15 or 1:45
- Invite a counselor from CAPS
Threats
- Time of day
- Length of event
- Not starting on time
Notes
- Important for SG to participate in (everyone agrees)
SWOT Voter Registration
Strengths
- Being in Santa Rosa was good
- Good to have it at different time and locations
- Multiple people at tables – good involvement
- Decorations for the table
- Many students are registered and simply re-registered
- Volunteers knew what they were doing – well informed
Weaknesses
- People not dating their voter registration form – SG members not double-checking forms before collecting
- SG not giving back receipts
- Communication within SG
- Not planning clean up and set up
- Sign-up sheet not organized
- Not being specific enough
Opportunities
- Things that you need to fill out – checklist
- Date reminder on table
- Highlight important parts
- Different form of sign up/ display when people signed up in office
- Sign-up sheet could be very detailed/ sign-up times/ clean-up/set-up
- Let students know that they can register online
- Every minute being planned
- Detailed check list – sent out to all SG members
- More locations in housing
Threats
- Students not filling out form/SG not double-checking
- Two SG events in same week/ not knowing about other events
- Wind
- Not every SG member could volunteer
- More planning – how do we set up? Senators should know how to set-up by themselves
