A Guide for Google Hangouts Webinars for Diploma and Advanced and Professional Diploma Programmes

What are Google Hangouts Webinars

The Google Hangouts webinars are additional studying tools to support your learning.

The purpose of these 30 minutes seminars is to offer a platform where delegates can engage with their tutors and have an opportunity to ask questions on areas of the syllabus which need further clarifying.

Format:

Pre-booked – Schedules are posted on the CIPS timetable webpage

  • Distance/ Blended Learning delegates will access 2 X 30 minutes webinarper module

Tutorial(to be booked directly by you with your tutor)

  • If you are unable to join-in pre-scheduled webinar or have any other queries on the module content; please organise a call directly with your tutor at a time that suits you both.

How it works:

The schedules are posted on the CPDlondonmet CIPS Timetable webpage

Ideally delegates should attend both seminars. However, we are aware that many of you have busy work and life commitments. For this reasonwe have scheduled two webinars in the hope that this will allow everyone to participate in at least one of the webinars.

Note:

  1. In order to ensure that your tutor is fully prepared to answer your questions, we would kindly ask you to email your question(s) to your tutor at least 3 working days prior to the seminar date.
  1. We will reserve the right to change seminar dates in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
  1. We will aim to notify you of any changes to the pre-planned schedules 3 weeks prior to of the pre-booked seminar.

This is very much work in progress and we will monitor its success by asking you to complete an evaluation form at the end of each seminar. We would also welcome any comments you can give us as this will help us improve our service and ensure that your time is not wasted.
