About the Opportunity
Able Australia Services is looking for an enthusiastic, personable individual with proven leadership skills to take on the challenging and rewarding role as one of our Area Managers. The successful candidate will not only enhance our current services,operationalise NDIS initiatives and will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities for growth.

About the Role:
This role involves managing accommodation support services, day service programs, family & community support services and leading a team of people who are committed and professional in their program delivery.
We are looking for an experienced leader who is excited about the changes occurring in the Disability Sector with the onset of the National Disability Insurance Scheme [NDIS]. Are you passionate about leading people through what is one of the most significant social change in Australian history? As the Area Manager you will have leadership responsibility for all disability support services across a designated area across the state of Victoria.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable senior leadership experience with evidenced success at large scale change management and business development. With a leadership style that is approachable, persuasive and resilient, you will engage all levels of the business to achieve the best outcomes for our clients and their families.
What we want from you:
Experience managing support services to people with disabilities
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of person centre planning and advanced understanding of managing behaviours of concern.
Ability to lead and motivate a team of staff across a number of sites.
Demonstrated ability to understand business dynamics and use that understanding to grow the business
Enthusiastic approach and attitude
Sound understanding and ability to lead change across multiple sites
Understanding and experience with NDIS implementation
Essential Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Business or Management or related field
Current valid Driver’s License
Current Police Check.
Current Working With Children Check
