With the arrest of two desperate thieves of famous Tuck-Tuck Bag Lifters Gang, namely Amarnath S/o Gurshager, R/o H. No. H-II/58, Madangiri, New Delhi, age 22 yrs, and Murgesh S/o Murgan R/o H. No. 13-14, Block – A, Bhagwati Garden, Main Delhi, age 24 yrs, a team of PS Badarpur comprising of SI Amit Kumar, Ct. Asif , Ct. Ravinder, Ct. Anil and Ct. Mohit, under the leadership of Insp. Akhilesh Yadav SHO/Badarpur, under the overall supervision of Sh. V. K. Nayyer ACP/Sarita Vihar, has cracked two cases of bag lifting.
INCIDENT:
On 17-08-2013, complainant Sh. Maninder Singh, S/o Sh. Balbir Singh Nayyar R/o K-141, 3rd Floor, Kalkaji, New Delhi, was coming from his residence to his office at Mohan Co-Operative Estate at around 8.30 am. On the way his car got punctured. While his driver was changing the tyre a boy asked his address. Then he reached at his office and attended a meeting. After one hour he came out and found that his laptop, 6 cheque books, keys of office and residence, pen drive, 2 books, 3 files, Tata photon internet drive, few other important documents and Rs. 2.5 Lacs Cash, were stolen. On 18-8-13, he came to PS Badarpur and a Case FIR No. 269/13, U/s 379 IPC, PS Badarpur, got registered on his complaint. Investigation of the Case was handed over to SI Amit.
On 19-8-13, another complainant Sh. Manav Sardana, S/o Sh. S. V. Sardana, R/o 69 B, Sainik Farm, Eastern Avenue, Near Ram Mandir, New Delhi, came to PS Badarpur and stated that on 08-08-13, at around 10.40 am, when he was going to Faridabad, via Badarpur from Tughlakabad, by his car, then 4 persons sitting in a silver colour Wagon R car told him that oil was leaking from his car. On that he got down from the car and he opened the bonnet of the car for checking. When he turned back he found all of four above stated persons flew from the spot after stealing his bag containing, one I-Pad, one I-Phone, Cash Rs. 1,06,300/-, 7 US Dollars, 260 Euros, and other important documents. After the incident he went out of Delhi for an urgent piece of work. After taking his statement a Case FIR No. 272/13, U/s 379 IPC got registered in PS Badarpur.
INVESTIGATION:
During investigation SI Amit deployed his informers in search of such type of thieves and he got immediate success in this matter. One of his informers told him that two members of the above cited gang will come, at around 10.30 pm, towards Khanpur, near BRT Corridor. Immediately SI Amit informed the SHO/Badarpur and constituted a team and laid a trap near BRT, Khanpur T Point. At around 10.50 p.m., at the instance of informer, a WagonR Car No. DL-3CR-8039, was stopped at the trap point. On checking Amarnath S/o Gurshager, R/o H. No. H-II/58, Madangiri, New Delhi, age: 22 yrs, and Murgesh S/o Murgan R/o H. No. 13-14, Block – A, Bhagwati Garden, Main Delhi, age 24 yrs, were found sitting in the same.
INTERROGATION:
On sustain interrogation accused Amarnath S/o Gurshager, R/o H. No. H-II/58, Madangiri, New Delhi, age: 22 yrs, and Murgesh S/o Murgan R/o H. No. 13-14, Block – A, Bhagwati Garden, Main Delhi, age 24 yrs, disclosed the truth and admitted thier involvement in both above noted cases. They also told that they used to puncture the targeted vehicle with a poker/or tell some false statement to divert the attention of the driver. After that they used to steal the bag and run away from the spot. Accused Amarnath S/o Gurshager stated that he had involved in 3 cases of such type of MO.

GANG OF BUS ROBBERS BUSTED WHO USED TO COMMIT ROBERY IN THE RUNNING BUSES: 4 DEPSPERATE ROBBERS ARRESTED: THREE MOBILE PHONES AND CASH RS. 16,000/- RECOVERED. THREE CASES HAVE BEEN SOLVED
South-East District Police has arrested four desperate bus robbers red handed while they try to flee away after committing robbery at 8.10 PM in moving bus at Sarai Kale Khan red light on 18.08.13. They used to commit crime of pick-pocketing and robbery with commuters in the moving buses in the evening and late night and robbed their cash and valuables. Robbed money Rs 16000/- and three mobile phones have been recovered from them.
INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST:
On 18.08.2013 Sh.Brijesh S/o Kadura R/o E-4 Sector ,27 NOIDA U.P. reported that he was traveling in a private bus for NOIDA. At about 8.10 PM when the bus reached at Sarai Kale Khan red light and while he was trying to de-board, suddenly he was surrounded by six persons and they forcibly removed cash of Rs 9000/- and they tried to decamp. The staff of the ERV of P.S Sunlight Colony comprising HC Omprakash, HC Satender and Ct. Tekchand of P.S Sunlight Colony were on patrol duty. On suspicion the staff apprehended them. In the mean time complainant also raised an alarm. On hearing the noise, SI Laxman Choudry, HC Parmod Kumar, HC Maan Singh and Const Laxmi who were also present at the picket, immediately came to the spot and apprehended all accused persons. On his complaint a case vide FIR No. 324/13 U/s 392/411/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Sun Light Colony, Delhi and investigation taken up and the robbed money was recovered from their possession.
INTERROGATION:
On sustained interrogation, it was revealed that Kamlesh has formed a gang of four persons namely Firoz Khan, Pappu Singh and Mohd. Sajid who used to rob the cash and other valuable items from the commuters in moving buses. On 18/08/13 Kamlesh along with his associates boarded a private bus from south Ext. The bus was going to Noida via Sarai Kale Khan. When the bus reached near Sarai Kale Khan bus stand they targeted the complainant and robbed cash of Rs 9000/-. They also disclosed their involvements in several other cases of similar modus operandi which are being verified.

Ø RECOVERY OF CLOTHING ROLLS (THAN) AMOUNTING TO RS. 06 LACS THIEF ARRESTED BY SPECIAL STAFF/AATS OF NORTH DISTT POLICE
A Joint team of Special Staff/AATS of North District and staff of P.S. Burari has arrested one thief namely Ishtiyak s/o Kalu r/o Vill. Mirzapur, P.S. Baijoi, Distt. Bheem Nagar, UP aged about 40 yrs. With his arrest, a case of clothing godown theft of P.S. Burari, Delhi has been worked out and recovery of 120 clothing rolls (Than) worth Rs. 06 lacs has been made.
INCIDENT
On 08.07.2013, 180 clothing rolls (Than) were stolen from Ram Swaroop Rattan Lal Firm, Khasra No. 797/1/2, Kamal Pur, Burari, Delhi. Later on, a case FIR No. 277/13 dated 11.07.2013 u/s 380 IPC was registered at P.S. Burari, Delhi on the complaint of Sh. Ashok Mishra and investigation was taken up by the local police.
TEAM
On receipt of secret information to Spl. Staff, North Distt., a team comprising of SI Ravindra Singh, HC Mahesh Chand, HC Satish Patil, HC Rajiv Kumar, HC Yogender Singh, Ct. Devender of Spl. Staff/AATS along with SI Naveen and SI Ravi and other staff of P.S. Burari was constituted under the leadership of Inspr. Naresh Kumar, Inspr./Spl. Staff/N and overall supervision of Sh. Subhash Tandon, ACP/Operation Cell/North. The team conducted raid at Vill. Mirzapur, P.S. Baijoi, Distt. Bheem Nagar, UP where Ishtiyak s/o Kalu was arrested and on the instance of accused, stolen property has been recovered.
INTERROGATION
During the course of investigation, the accused Ishtiyak s/o Kalu was interrogated at length who disclosed that they had committed the theft with two ither associates namely Aslam @ Chottey and Ajmal @ Kale who are brothers and residing at Vill. Saijpur, UP and shifted the stolen property to his native house at Mirzapur, UP and last week Aslam and Ajmal took away some stolen property and sold the same to one Atik Ahmad at Rampur, UP. Raid has also been conducted at Vill. Saijpur but both accused Aslam and Ajmal are absconding.
PROFILE
Accused Ishtyak was born in 1978 at Vill. Mirzapur, UP. He is illiterate. His father works as labourer. He has 05 children. Since childhood, he worked as a labourer and now he deals in sale/purchase of clothes and goats/sheep in local market. He is related to Ajmal and Aslam as brother in law who deals in sale/purchase of clothes in Seelam Pur, Delhi.

BATTERY THIEVES ARRESTED
Police personnel of P.S. Hari Nagar, West District have arrested two battery thieves namely Suraj @ Dablu and Babu Kaushal @ Kaushal and recovered one inverter battery from their possession.

RECOVERY MADE
One stolen inverter battery.
INCIDENT AND OPERATION
On 18.08.13, a PCR call was received at PP Hari Nagar regarding theft of inverter battery from House No. M-28, Hari Nagar. A case vide FIR No.341/13 dated 18.08.13 u/s 380 IPC PS Hari Nagar was registered and investigation taken up. Immediately, a team led by SI Shiv Dutt Jaimini I/C PP Hari Nagar was constituted to apprehend the culprits. Since the stolen property was an inverter battery, the police team developed information through kabaries of the area. The police team was noticed two unknown persons moving suspicious near DDU Hospital persons with one battery. On enquiry they could not explain about the ownership of the battery. The battery was identified by the complainant. Further investigation is in progress.

EXTORTIONISTS ARRESTED
Police personnel of P.S. Rajouri Garden, West District have arrested two extortionists namely Narender and Gaurav. With their arrest one Santro Car and two country made automatic pistols alongwith three live cartridges have been recovered.

INCIDENT, TEAM AND OPERATION
On 19.08.13, a PCR call was received from one Sh. Ghanshyam Manchanda stating therein that on 19.08.13 at about
1.15 AM he was closing his shop near Mother Dairy, Tagore Garden, Sunday Bazar and putting his shop articles in auto rickshaw. In the meantime, one white colour Santro Car No.
DL 4C P-3888 came there in which four persons were seated. Narender and Gaurav whom he already knew, came out from the car and threatened him and demanded Rs.25,000/- as protection money. The complainant refused to give at which they started hurled abuses and threatened to shoot him when complainant again expressed his inability to give with the money, Gaurav put the gun on complainant’s head while Narender fired in the air from his gun to scare him so that he would pay the money immediately. But the complainant stood his ground the aforesaid duo again threatened him of dire consequences. They asserted that the money must be paid next day and left the spot. On the statement of the complainant, a case FIR No. 477 dated 19.08.13 u/s 387/34 IPC and 25/27 Arms Act was registered and investigation taken up. During the investigation, one empty cartridge was recovered from the spot. Immediately, a police team led by SHO Rajouri Garden under supervision of Shri Eish Singhal, ACP/Rajouri Garden was constituted to apprehend the culprits. The team was present at the picket on Road No.28 near 857 bus stand, Raghubir Nagar, when at about 9.00 AM, the said car reached there and the police party signaled it to stop and the two occupants tried to flee away brandishing the fire arms towards the police party. However, they were overpowered by the police team. During their search, two country made automatic pistols alongwith three live cartridges were recovered and a case was accordingly registered vide case FIR No.478/13 dated 19.08.13 u/s 186/353/34 IPC and 25/27 Arms Act P.S. Rajouri Garden. Further investigation is in progress. Efforts are being made to arrest the absconding accused persons.
