Content Description:
This collection contains two groups of images created and used by the Admissions Department to promote Lane. The photograph exhibit was used to promote LCC at the Lane County Fair, c. 1979. The photos are of students and classroom activities such as art, athletics, auto mechanics, business, carpentry and construction, child care, cooking, distance learning, drafting, farm equipment, flight technology, mechanical technology, music, nursing, sewing, and upholstery. The photographs measure 22x 29.5 inches and are mounted on cardboard.
The other group of images are color slides used to promote the college and it’s academic programs at high schools, at college fairs, and at Lane-sponsored events. Some of the slides were part of a slide show titled “Go For Success.” The slides include images of students and activities in various college departments and programs.
