Your user guide:
You are to create a user guide to help people better understand how you work. Your user guide will include:
– Cover page
– Product guide/getting started section: (these are a few brief characteristics about yourself that a person needs to know; how are you reached and what is the main thing a person needs to know before talking to you?)
– SUGGESTIONS: age, gender, hair/eye color, 1 favorite/least favorite thing; personality traits, one or two pet peeves, Twitter, Instagram, etc
– Settings: (student mode, friend mode, sibling mode, etc. How do you function in each of these modes)
– SUGGESTIONS: Which is your default mode, why do you need to be put in the other modes?
– Warnings (what do people want to avoid and what are some negative ways you may act?)
– SUGGESTIONS: YOUR PET PEEVES AND ANNOYANCES! What sets you off?
– Trouble Shooting: (What are some problems they may encounter and how can they fix them?)
– SUGGESTIONS: least flattering qualities: prone to yelling, being sarcastic, etc.
– Tips for Optimal Performance: (What are some things a person needs to know to help you succeed, keep you happy, and stay on your good side?
– SUGGESTIONS: favorites: candy, shoes, pizza, cars, etc.
· Make sure that you are telling people how you tick and how you learn.
· It should be neat, colorful, well –written, and grammatically correct. This is your last project for middle school so make sure it is 8th grade work!
