REGARDING HOLIDAY PARKING

Holidays are often challenging with regard to providing adequate parking for guests. Our garage can accommodate some twenty vehicles on a first come first served basis. Some additional cars can be parked around the circle area. At some point, with all possible spaces taken, security must advise guests that they must seek street parking. We can only apologize in advance for any inconvenience our limited facilities may provide.

IT’S SPRINGTIME

Our landscaper is busy at work transforming our grounds into the showplace we have come to expect.

HOLIDAY TABLE AND CHAIR REQUESTS

We have a limited number of tables and chairs

available to shareholders who need to borrow same for hosting holiday celebrations in their homes. Please make any such requests to the office well in advance so that they might be scheduled and delivered in a timely manner.

BOARD APPROVES SALES

At its March 2016 meeting, the board approved the sale

of unit 8M.

Whenever renovations of any kind are done within the confines of a unit here at The Cryder House, whether those renovations be plumbing, electrical, architectural, bathrooms, kitchens, etc., IT IS THE SHAREHOLDER WHO IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL VIOLATIONS OF THE NEW YORK CITY BUILDING CODES. MAKE SURE ANY AND ALL CONTRACTORS ARE AWARE.

2016 TIMELINE FOR CRYDER HOUSE ELECTIONS

As per our By-Laws, the Board has prepared a timeline for the 2016 election for three positions on the Board of Directors.

ANNUAL MEETING (ELECTIONS) TUESDAY, JUNE 7

Nominating Committee Selected

(at least 9 weeks before elections) Tuesday, April 5

Deadline for Submitting Names

for Nomination Friday, April 15

Nominating Committee Interview Timespan April 18-21

Nominating Committee Announces Nominations Tues. May 3

Deadline for Submitting 5% Petitions Friday, May 6

(30 days before election date -

Candidates Night Tuesday, May 24

In order to stand for election for the Cryder House Board of Directors, you must be a shareholder in good standing and must have resided at the Cryder House for at least two years.

Candidates must make themselves available for an interview with the Nominating Committee

and must arrange their schedules to appear at Candidates’ Night.

AIR CONDITIONING - GETTING READY

Our staff is presently in the process of servicing the air conditioning units in all apartments. It is critical that all units be serviced, filters changed, etc. before the beginning of the air conditioning season in the middle of May. The office will be contacting all shareholders in an effort to schedule these services. Please make every effort to work with the office staff so that this important maintenance service might be completed in a timely manner.

HALLWAY CARPET REPLACMENT

WHAT’S UP?

We know that we will not be able to satisfy every resident in selecting our hallway carpeting, but we are going to great lengths to please most of our shareholders. We are taking our time in selecting samples and we are making decisions about the layout installations before we present the two choices for your consideration. If all goes well, we will install the new renderings and solicit shareholders' opinions very soon. We thank Ruth Divack and Alice Wetchler for all their hard work and expertise.

A WORD ABOUT BULLETIN BOARDS

All bulletin boards in common areas of the building are the province of management, Their sole purpose is so that management can communicate important information to residents and shareholders.

No commercial items are permitted on the bulletin boards.

Additionally, shareholders desiring to place any items on bulletin boards (laundry room bulletin boards included) must submit such items to management for approval prior to posting.
