What is a Me- Shirt?

A Me – Shirt is a shirt that each child will create throughout the remainder of the school year.

This is part of Gayhead’s Bully Committee Initiative.

The goal of each Me-Shirt is to have each child be proud of themselves both individually and as a group!

Several times, throughout the remainder of the school year, we will be working on and wearing our Me-Shirts as a school community.

Therefore, we are asking each child to come in with a plain white t-shirt by: May 1, 2012

The t-shirt does not have to be new, however, it shouldn’t have any writing on it what-so-ever and each student should be able to wear the t-shirt from now until June, so please keep that in mind for the sizing.

For the remainder of this year, we may need your child and you to have a conversation, so they are well prepared to add to their Me-Shirts.

In order to complete the Me-Shirt, each child should know the following:

(1) Their name (easy enough!)

(2) Their nationality (besides American)

(3) Something they love about their appearance/ inner self.

That’s all there is too it!

Thanks so much!
