Welcome to the District Team!
One committee based tool we are using is "Slack", a web based team communication tool that provides one stop for all resources, including agendas, surveys, contracts, and documents gleaned from other districts. It basically holds our "intelligence", is searchable and will be transferred to successor teams down the road.
To understand Slack’s potential, consider the following path:
1. A basic introduction to Slack is attached - please read this document first.
2. Take a quick Slack Video Tour Here, by clicking on the blue button "Watch the Tour".
3. Look for my email invitation to you to join Slack.
4. After you accept the invitation to join Slack, I will send you a Direct Message (private message between the two of us) and an invite to join a group Channel.
Believe me, you will ramp up quickly as we develop information and resource documents in one place!
