TO CHANGE OR RESET AN APPROVAL PASSWORD
- Log into Datatel
- Enter APPW into the Quick Access Menu and click “Go.”
- Enter the User ID in the “Approvals Lookup” dialog box, then click “OK.”
- Enter the new approval password in the dialog box, then click “OK.” The new password must be between 6-8 total characters, start with a letter, contain at least two letters, one capital letter, and one number. It can not resemble the User ID or “Password.” Special characters (e.g. * & ^ % $ #, etc.) can not be used.
- Re-enter the same new approval password in the dialog box to confirm the change, then click “OK.”
- Finally, to finish the process “Save and Update” the changes by clicking on the “Save” Icon (green arrow below) or press <F9>. Then click “Update.”
