THINGS TO REMEMBER

For this WORKSHEET you are going to use your RULER and your COMPASS. You need the COMPASS for all the constructions.

A. If I ask you to draw the following triangle, you will know right away that to do so you need your compass. Right?

B. If I now ask you to copy this ANGLE, using the same instruments as you did above, you will first need to draw some guide lines, so that you see a triangle.

ü Now you are ready to copy the given angle. Copy the formed triangle and then erase the guide line. READY!!!

C. Now look at the following figure. We can also complete it with a couple of guide lines, so that we see two connected triangles instead.

D. In the same way as you have copied the other figures with the help of a guide line, you will always be able to copy a quadrilateral following the same steps. To copy this quadrilateral, we first have to draw a GUIDE LINE which allows us to see 2 TRIANGLES instead.
