The Society of Accountants in Malawi (SOCAM) Is Pleased to Publish Names of Its Members

The Malawi Accountants Board (MAB) is pleased to publish names of accountants who were on its register as at 31 December 2016. The Board would like to remind the registered accountants to renew their membership for 2017 as required. The Board would also like to request those that are not yet registered to register now. Registration and renewal of membership is done through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM).

The Board further cautions all unregistered persons purporting to act as chartered accountants in Public Practice, chartered accountants (Non Practicing) and Diplomate accountants that they are acting in breach of the Act. The Board reserves the right to take any action against persons violating the provision of the Public Accountants and Auditors Act (Section 26).
