BALLET CLASS & EXAMINATION UNIFORM LIST

Babies, Pre – Primary and Primary girls

Short sleeved pink polyester–cotton lycra leotard. Pink wrap skirt. (Freed make)

Short pink ballet ankle socks.

Clean pink leather ballet shoes with pink elastic to secure them on. (Please ask if you are unsure of the correct positioning of the elastic. It must not be placed over the instep of the foot.)

PRE-PRIMARY CANDIDATES PLEASE BRING ONE SET OF POMPOM SHAKERS TO THE EXAM.

PRIMARY CANDIDATES PLEASE BRING A SCARF TO THE EXAM FOR THE DANCE.

Boys

Regulation boys, short sleeve white T-Shirt.

Navy blue regulation shorts.

Short white ankle socks.

White leather ballet shoes with White elastic to hold them on. (Please see girls note.)

Grade 1 and 2 girls

Sleeveless mulberry polyester–cotton lycra leotard with matching elasticated belt. (Freed make)

Short pink ballet ankle socks. Pink seamless ballet tights for grade 2.

Clean pink leather ballet shoes with pink elastic to secure them them on.

Black school regulation character skirt (This must be purchased through the school)

Black character shoes with low heel.

Boys

White short sleeved pcl leotard with navy blue lycra shorts

White ankle socks.

White leather ballet shoes with white elastic to secure them on. (Please see girls note.)

Black lace up character shoes.

Grade 3,4 and 5 girls

Sleeveless navy blue polyester–cotton lycra leotard with matching elasticated belt. (Freed make)

Pink seamless ballet tights.

Clean pink leather ballet shoes with pink elastic to secure them on.

Black school regulation character skirt. (This must be purchased through the school)

Black character shoes with cuban heel.

Boys

As for previous grades with the addition of navy blue pcl or lycra stirrup tights.

Grade 6,7 and Grade 8 Award

Navy blue pcl strappy leotard as per vocational exams. (Freed make)

A full circular georgette or chiffon navy blue skirt. (This should fall to approx mid-calf.)

Pink seamless ballet tights.

Pink leather or canvas ballet shoes with pink elastic to secure them on. Split soled shoes may be worn.

A light silk or scarf of no more than 1m x 2m. This should match or tone with the leotard and skirt. (Provided by the school)

Black school regulation character skirt. (This must be purchased through the school)

Black character shoes with cuban heel.

Notes

1. All girl pupils must bring brushes, combs, hair ties, hair nets, hair grips, hair pins and hairspray with them so that their hair can be secured into a neat bun on the examination day.

2. No jewellery whatsoever can be worn during the examination. Please leave all valuables at home.

3. Nail varnish must not be worn in the examination.

4. If character skirts are to be worn please ensure that they are ironed and brought to the exam on a coat hanger.

5. No pants to be worn under leotards. Older pupils please make sure that pants are discreet!!
