It is perfectly acceptable to receive the Eucharist in only one kind (i.e. the Host), and then decline the chalice, crossing your arms.

We welcome this morning Bishop Rustin “Rusty” Kimsey. The Retired 5th Bishop of Eastern Oregon, and Retired Assisting Bishop of Navajoland, Bishop Kimsey has been called by our Standing Committee to be Assisting Bishop of Alaska until we select our own.
