BASED in Nottingham and working in HMP Foston Hall and various community venues across the East Midlands.

Job Role
Pertemps People Development Group (PPDG) are the prime contractor for NOMS ESF Round 3 in East Midlands and have contracted Changing Lives to develop and deliver a wide range of quality services to women involved in the Criminal Justice System. Emphasis will be on those with multiple and complex needs and delivered through the provision of one to one sessions, supportive measures, specialist referrals, group activities and training opportunities that will support a sustainable transition into employment. Delivery is based on a case management model.
Job Responsibilities
To engage with and support women in custody, offering one to one assessment, support planning and ongoing support, group work, information, guidance and referrals to partner organisations.
To provide casework support to women to address the underlying causes of their offending behaviour across the 9 resettlement pathways.
To work in partnership with the prison and other in-house providers to ensure access to holistic, person centred packages of support.
To engage with and support women in the community offering one to one assessment, support planning and ongoing support, group work, information, guidance, referrals and supported access to partner organisations.
To receive referrals from Community Rehabilitation Company/National Probation Service and other key agencies in line with contractual obligations.
To provide casework support to women to address the underlying causes of their offending behaviour across the 9 resettlement pathways.
To work in partnership with key organisations and a range of specialist support services ensuring access to holistic, person centred packages of support
Manage a case load and maintain timely and accurate records of all interventions on a bespoke database.
Support the accurate completion of mandatory paperwork and obtain evidence of individual outcomes in accordance with contractual requirements.
To develop, organise and deliver both accredited and non-accredited learning programmes for delivery across various sites in the community. To participate in the internal and external process of moderation and accreditation process.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with key organisations and their staff to support women to access existing support services that they require within their local communities.
To attend and contribute to various operational meetings.
To obtain service user feedback to ensure that delivery is of a high quality and meets the requirements of Changing Lives, The Funder and the Prime Contractor.
Ensure risks associated with the delivery of services are effectively assessed and managed
Comply with all legal and health and safety requirements
Maintain a positive image of self and the organisation at all times

· NVQ level 3 in Social Care or equivalent appropriate qualification
Experience / · Experience of working directly with vulnerable women with complex issues in a person centred way.
· Knowledge of the issues faced by women involved in the criminal justice system.
· Experience of planning and monitoring performance of contractual targets.
· Up to date knowledge and experience of safeguarding issues.
· Experience of working in an environment that is health and safety conscience.
· Experience of working to set administrative guidelines.
· Experience of using a database to record actions/outcomes. / · Experience of facilitating groups
· Experience of working within the accreditation systems and processes.
