3 / 1. Plan a presentation considering the audience, content, and method of delivery. / Means: 10 multiple choice questions on an exam.
Criteria: 70% of students will answer 7 or more questions correctly. / One session was offered in the 2012/2013 Academic year. 27 students were enrolled in the course. 78% of students achieved satisfactory performance based the Assessment Criteria / The results reflect that the intended outcomes are being met based upon the intended outcome. However, cost of the textbook is prohibited; the semester being reduced in length makes it difficult for students to complete all of the assignments. The setup of the classroom (environment) is not ergonomic thereby creating stress and bad techniques. Student attendance and not having the lab available as it was in the past (no open lab) contributed toward some students failing to achieve intended outcome.
We need an instructional assistance in the lab to assistants students, maintain longer hours for students, have better control over the equipment, and make available reference copies of the textbook for students.
3 / 2. Create a new presentation using a template. Insert new slides with slide layouts, save, print and open a presentation. Arrange text on a slide using insert, delete, find and replace, text and paragraph formatting, spell check, thesaurus. Employ special effects such as animation, transitions and sound. Rehearse timing and delivering the presentation. / Means: Given an assignment describing a directory and file structure, students will perform the necessary operations.

2(3) / 4. Send a presentation for review and track, accept and reject changes from viewers. Add, edit and delete comments in a presentation; compare and merge presentations. / Means: Given an assignment working with Online Collaboration, students will perform the necessary operations using PowerPoint collaboration tools.
