Ruchika: Welcome to the Kindergarten through 4th grade portion of our fifth annual Beacon Academy Talent Show! Student Council is very excited that you are here to witness the wonderful talents that our school has. I would like to remind you that if you have a pager, cell phone, or anything electronic, put it on silent or turn it off at this time. My name is Ruchika Kamojjala, and I’ll be your MC for the first half of the show, along with my assistant . .
Maddie: Maddie Spall. Remember to hold your applause until the end of the performance, and let the show begin!
Ruchika: First up, Beatrice Lentz, a 3rd grader, will be playing piano for us.
Maddie: Next up we have 1st grader Anthony Tomczik showing us his unique talent of break dancing!
Ruchika: Our next performer is 4th grade student Rachel Clifton playing a familiar piano piece for us.
Maddie: Now we have a 1st grade student who is going to sing for us and display his pogo stick skills! Welcome, Spencer Kadlec!
Ruchika: Next up we have Daria Gittsovich, a second grade student in Ms. Campbell’s class, playing some incredible piano selections.
Maddie: This next performance is by a dynamic duo. 4th grader Emily Beard will be singing “Over the Rainbow” while being accompanied by her mother, Wendy, on piano. Enjoy!
Ruchika: Wow! What incredible talents! Let’s have another round of applause for all the incredible talents we’ve seen so far! (Let applause die down) DeAndre Miller, a 3rd grade student in Ms. Lanz’s homeroom, is up next. He will be showing us his basketball trick skills.
Maddie: Next, welcome 2nd grade student Lydia Vigen as she bedazzles you with her singing.
Ruchika: This next performance is by a duo of 3rd graders, Isabelle Harken and Lauren Kadlec, along with helpers Olivia Trom and Lauren Ledoux, doing a jump rope routine!
Maddie: For this next performance we have 1st grader Kennedy Jendro playing the piano for us.
Ruchika: This next act is a singing performance. 3rd grade student Rebecca Martinez-Zamora will be singing “De Colores” for us.
Maddie: Our next act is bound to make you “jump, jump” as 4th graders Annie McGuire and Abi Terry do a dance the song “Jump, Jump” by Aaron Carter.
Ruchika: Ana LaBorde, a 3rd grade student from Ms. Lanz’s class, will be playing the piano for us next.
Maddie: This is our last performance before intermission. Our next act is by 3rd grader Imani Tendle singing a song she wrote herself! Enjoy!
Ruchika: Let’s give it up for our talented students at Beacon Academy! Our intermission will last about 10 minutes. Use this time to stretch your legs or use the restroom if you need to. Thank you and enjoy the break!
INTERMISSION
Maddie: Hopefully everyone had a nice break and is ready to hear the rest of our talents! Once again my name is Maddie Spall, and I will be your MC for the remainder of the show, along with my partner. . .
Kali: Me! Kali VanderMeeden! Up first we have 4th graders Gabriella Ray and Madie Anderson doing a dance to “Eeny Meany” that they choreographed themselves.
Maddie: Next up we have Lauren LeDoux. She is in the 3rd grade and will be singing “Fearless” by Taylor Swift for you!
Kali: Now it’s time for 4th grader Vladmir Smirnov to play a song on drums and electric guitar that he wrote himself.
Maddie: Up next, 2nd grade student Nica Livscheets will playing “The Juggler” on the piano.
Kali: Now we have two 3rd graders, Bella and Mia Tabor singing a song and being accompanied by their father, Jericho Tabor.
Maddie: Wow, we’ve had some really great talents so far! I can’t wait to see the rest of the show! Now we have 4th graders Emily Beard and Rachel Bowers putting on a different kind of talent for us, a fashion show!
Kali: Sarah Parisian is up next playing two spectacular piano pieces with her mom, Karen. Sarah is a 2nd grader in Mrs. Zarriello’s class.
Maddie: For our next number, Lauren Kadlec, a 3rd grader in Ms. McQuillan’s class, will be singing “Swinging on a Star,” being accompanied by her mom on piano.
Kali: Now we have a group of three lovely ladies doing a dance to the song “Boom Boom Pow” by the Black Eyed Peas. Please welcome 2nd grader Alexa Ray and 1st graders Vivian Lee and Zoie Rhonemus to the stage.
Maddie: Next up, the talented 3rd grade students Jessica Summers and Cecelia Starkey will be reciting a poem they wrote together.
Kali: This next unique talent will display hockey tricks, performed by 3rd grade student Joe Tomczik. He’s been doing this since he was two years old!
Maddie: Ruchika Kamojjala, a 4th grade student in Mrs. Oman’s class, will now be doing a dance for you that she choreographed herself to the song “Allegra.”
Kali: For this next performance, 1st graders Abby Burbach, Lauren Goeske and Claire Cieminski will be singing a familiar favorite, “A Whole New World” from the movie Aladdin. Enjoy!
Maddie: This next act is our final act of the show. Please welcome Olivia Lentz as she wraps up the afternoon with a beautiful piano piece.
Kali: Wow, I cannot believe how many talented students we have at Beacon Academy! Let’s give them another round of applause! (clapping) Thank you all for coming!
Maddie: We will be dismissing in ascending order, so Kindergarten, you are dismissed first, then 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and last but not least, 4th grade. Have a great rest of the day!
