Step by Step Instructions for downloading the EasyLink® for Windows XP™ and Windows Vista™

Enter the following web address into a browser: http://download.service.mattel.com/us/technical/Easylink_update_v1.3.0.2.exe

Click “Save”.

Save this file to a convenient location such as the desktop.


Wait for the file to download.

Navigate to the location where the Easylink_update_v1.3.0.2.exe file is stored. Double click the Easylink_update_v1.3.0.2.exe. Click “Run” in the window that opens.


Wait for the installer to open. Click the “Next” button.

To proceed, click on "I accept" and then the “Next” button.


Click “Next” again.

This window displays the default setting for the install. Please click “Next”.


The installer will check for the required Java and Adobe® components. If you are missing any of these required components, this screen will appear. Click “Next”.

You will be asked to confirm the installation. Click “Next” again.


Click “Install”.

As the software is installed, the progress bar turns from white to green.


When complete, the installer offers the following options.

Select “Launch Easy-link” and click the “Finish” button.

Should the installer detect that the required Adobe® Flash® software has not been installed, you will be asked to install it. Click “Ok” to continue.


Please open a web browser and go to www.adobe.com. Click on “Get Adobe® Flash® Player”. Please note these images are from the Adobe website, this website is updated frequently and may differ from the images below.

Wait for the install page to load.

The window below will open. Click “Install”.


When the install is complete, you will be able to see the Flash® logo and the words “Adobe® Flash® Player Successfully installed”.


Once this process is complete, the software is now ready for use. Click Start and Programs. Locate the Fisher-Price, EasyLink® Internet Launch Pad folder, click it and finish by clicking the EasyLink® Internet Launch Pad icon to launch the software. The window below will open.
