Spike Hunting Contest
Entry Form
Rules and Eligibility:
1. The contest winner is not determined by any antler measurements. The buck simply has to have an unbranched antler on at least one side. The winners will be drawn in a random drawing from all eligible entries. Three prizes will be awarded. 1st prize will be $200. 2nd and 3rd prizes will be $100 each.
2. The buck must be legally harvested on property that is a member of one of the six WMAs in Lavaca County and must be at least 1.5 years old.
3. An entry form must be completed and the whole head must be left at Morton’s Drive-In Grocery in Hallettsville on 90-A East and will become the property of the LCWMA.
4. Attach a tag # that corresponds to the entry form to each deer head. Leave the entry form at Morton’s.
5. All entries become the property of the LCWMA.
General information:
Remember, evidence of sex must remain with the deer until it reaches its final destination and is finally processed. Please see the TPWD Outdoor Annual for details. Be sure to meet requirements

By signing below I certify that I have harvested the buck legally on a property that is a current member of one of the six WMAs in Lavaca County and that all the above information is correct. I also acknowledge that I am donating the deer head to LCWMA.
