General objectives ( 3rd grade / Elementary education )
By the end of this school year the pupils will be able to:
ü Use simple greetings in everyday life.
ü Give simple orders like sit down / standup / open the door / close the window etc.
ü Make sentences beginning with this is / these are (and know that one is for the singular and the other for the plural).
ü Identify the colors in real objects and know how to write them without mistakes.
ü Introduce themselves and ask someone about the name, age, where someone is from etc.
ü Know how to use correctly the two articles a / an before the nouns.
ü Know how to use and write possessive adjectives and make simple sentences with them.
ü Know that the adjectives in English always come before the noun, differently from Albanian language.
ü Know words about animals, birds, fruit, vegetables etc.
ü Learn the verb “to be” and know how the affirmative, interrogative and negative sentences are formed.
ü Learn the birthday song and the Christmas song.
ü Know how to form the plural of nouns applying the simple rules of its.
ü Know how to use in sentences the prepositions “on” and “in”
ü Identify the objects of a house, and make small descriptions using there is / there are.
ü Learn how to tell the time.
ü Make questions using how many.
