Administrative Experience

1996 to 2007 Associate Dean of the Master's Program

Coordinated the MSW program enrolling c. 840 students and employing

c. 45 tenure-track faculty and 50 adjuncts. Administratively responsible for

the Offices of the Assistant Dean for Field Education and the Assistant

Dean for Student Services. Other responsibilities included: scheduling

courses; making and monitoring faculty workload assignments; maintaining off-site

and dual degree programs; overseeing student advising and making exceptions to faculty

curriculum policy to the Master's Program. Also served as member of the Dean’s

administrative team, helped with budget and salary decisions, consulted on fundraising

issues, and represented the administration on faculty, student, and university

committees. Maintained a 40% teaching load and continued to publish.
