ASA Aquatic Helper Qualification

This qualification is aimed at 13-16year olds interested in supporting the teaching programme and teachers in a learn to swim environment utilizing the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS) in conjunction with the British National Curriculum.

The course will include both theory and practical sessions for the above qualification and also include practical sessions where candidates will learn correct supports for younger (under 6years) and older (6 years plus)children while under the supervision of the swim teacher.

Course fee: Dh500 including resource book.

Booking Process:

A non-refundable deposit of Dh100 or the full fee should be returned with the second page of this form. Once we have your confirmation you will receive instructions on how to register online with the ASA for this course. The balance of your fee should be paid before the first day of the course.

You will need- clipboard and pen, plastic envelope to protect any paper on clipboard when on poolside, poolside wear – appropriate sports shirt and shorts and pool shoes. Pool wear- one piece suit, no cap but hair firmly tied back, rash vest or similar , shorts if wished. Towel and snack plus drinks bottle.
