PART 1 - GENERAL

1.1 CONDITIONS SPECIFIED ELSEWHERE: Section 010000 - General Requirements.

1.2 SUBMIT 3 copies of manufacturer’s Owner’s Manual, Maintenance Manual and Master Service Manual to the A/E.

PART 2 - PRODUCTS

2.1 LED Dock Light shall be painted safety yellow and made from 1 1/2”, 14 gauge steel square tube arms.

2.2 LED Dock Light shall have double-strut arm assembly with single-arm attachment to the head. Total arm extension to be 40, 60, or 90 inches.

2.3 LED Dock Light shall utilize five high intensity LED’s, using 15 watts of power with unique beam optics for optimum brightness entire trailer length.

Minimum lamp life is 50,000 hours to 70% lumen maintenance.

2.4 LED Dock Light shall have impact resistant, clear acrylic cover with silicone gasket.

2.5 LED Dock Light shall have a 110-volt plug in connection with an on/off toggle switch on 16” cord connecting head to arm.

2.6 LED Dock Light shall be non-corrosive.

2.7 LED Dock Light shall meet U.S. Naval specifications for shock and vibration.

2.8 LED Dock Light to be UL, CUL listed & CE approved

2.9 LED Dock Light Head shall include a 5-year limited parts warranty.

Execution

3.1 Installer shall examine the substrate and conditions under which the LED Dock Light is installed and notify the A/E and contractor in writing of any conditions detrimental to the proper and timely completion of the work. Do not proceed with the work until unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected in a manner acceptable to the installer.

3.2 Manufacturer’s Representative for the LED Dock Light shall install the Dock Light in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.

3.3 AFTER INSTALLATION is completed, a representative of the manufacturer shall examine the installation and require that all connections and adjustments necessary to assure proper operation of dock lights can be made. Before acceptance, a demonstration shall be conducted in the presence of the owner’s representative to guarantee that all dock lights operate properly in every respect. In addition, a detailed user/operator training session shall be conducted at time and place agreed upon by owner’s representative and manufacturer’s representative.
