Powerpoint Project

Deutsch 3 & Deutsch 4

Your project for the first 6 weeks grading period will be to create a MS Powerpoint presentation centered around one of the review topics listed below. German 3 students will work in groups of 2 or 3 people. German 4 students will work alone. Each group/person must choose a different topic. Therefore, topics will be assigned "first come, first served". Please make note of the deadline and stipulations for your project.

completion of all requirements 25 points

artistic merit 25 points

quality/accuracy of material (grammar, spelling, etc.) 25 points

oral presentation 25 points

HANOVER OBJECTIVES

Note to teachers: this facilitates a review of H-GrI.1 – H-GrI.45 and H-GrII.1 – H-GrII.35; you may wish to include vocabulary in your topics list. I find that this exercise works well to reinforce our efforts in the following areas: Communication (language), Culture (if you ask them to include culturally appropriate clip art/pictures), Connections (technology and media), Comparisons (cultural and linguistic comparisons are easy to see via Powerpoint), and Communities (producing realia for extended use).
