Relay Technician

TCEC will be accepting employment applications through January 1, 2018 for the position of Relay Technician. Provides efficient installation, testing, maintenance and calibration of The Cooperative’s protective relaying equipment and electrical/electronic equipment associated with the power delivery and communications systems. Ensures the service of the equipment is protected at all times. Two or more years’ experience in electric utility industry testing, calibrating and repairing protective relay devices and revenue meters and/or five or more years in substation work experience. Completion of a four (4) year electrical apprenticeship program or an Associate’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology preferred.
