How do your National Association members benefit?

·  SCOPE is the only internationally-recognised certification in obesity management. It equips health professionals with up to date, evidence-based obesity management resources, to treat their patients with obesity better and to excel in their careers.

·  Attendance at SCOPE Schools allows attendees to earn SCOPE points that count towards SCOPE Accreditation.

·  Raise the profile of your National Association and showcase your country

World Obesity will:

·  Manage the administration of the conference to ensure that the National Association does not need to use additional resources and manpower

·  Take all financial responsibility to ensure that there is no financial risk to your organisation

·  Work with our contacts to source the best destination, venue and suppliers possible.

·  Work to source suitable sponsors for the event (sponsors must be acceptable under World Obesity’s financial relationship policy)

World Obesity will work with you to create the best event possible. Your National Association would be involved in the following areas:

·  Aiding with the program and local speakers

·  Assisting in sourcing local suppliers

·  Working with us to identify and approach potential sponsors and exhibitors

·  Publicising the event to potential delegates in your region

·  Working with World Obesity to inform the secretariat of any local VIPs and guests who should be invited

Tell us more about you

Please provide us with the following:-

·  A summary – maximum 500 words – explaining why a SCOPE School should be hosted by your National Association

·  A list of local and regional institutions that would support the event by sending delegates

·  Proposal of 2-3 people from your Association or country who would be suitable to sit on the Scientific Committee and create the scientific programme of the event together with SCOPE School Scientific Chair.

·  A list of companies that you think might be suitable sponsors for this event (please let us know if you have any personal contacts within these companies)
