The reasons for me requiring a firearm are as follows:
1. I live in a remote area. Crime has been increasingly severe with regular break-ins including incidents where the residents are home.
2. We currently have no self-defense weapons in our home.
3. My wife and I are in our 50’s and would be unable to defend ourselves by any other means.
4. I often drive at night or alone
I have studied South African firearm law in detail and am well aware that I am only allowed to use a firearm in defense of my life, only with due warning and only if there is no other option.
I am aware that a firearm must be concealed at all times and locked in my safe when not in my immediate company.

He is competing in IPSC at club level but his self-defense firearm is inadequate for this sport. He requires a gun with at least a 15 round capacity, a longer barrel and a hammer such as the MAKE MODEL.
