RSA Software Token Installation Instructions – Android
1. On the Android device, open the “Play Store” application and search for the RSA SecurID Software Token application from the Google Play Store. You may search the Google Play Store for “RSA SecurID” and select the app or visit the full link below from within a browser on the Android device: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rsa.securidapp
2. Select the Application
3. Select Install.
4. Select Accept.
5. Once the app has been successfully downloaded and installed, close the Google Play Store app and open the email provided by the RSA administrator, from your phone, and select the RSA Software Token link provided. (i.e. http://127.0.0.1/securid/ctf?ctfData=xxxxxxxxxxx)
If you are able to press and launch the link provided in the email, please continue to the next step.
If you are unable to press and launch the link, you may need to cut and paste the entire link into the import token option of the RSA SecurID app. To cut and paste on Android, long press until the cut/paste menu appears, and select the beginning and end of the string and press copy.
6. Select RSA SecurID and Just Once.
7. Select “I have read and accept the terms of this agreement.” and click Continue.
8. The RSA SecurID application should open and prompt for a password to import the RSA token seed. Enter the password provided by the RSA administrator and hit OK.
9. Select OK.
10. If the RSA token provided is a “replacement token”, skip to step 15.
11. If the RSA token provided is a “new token” in “new PIN mode”, you will be required to generate a PIN. Please do not enter a PIN yet. Please press the arrow > to see the Tokencode that will be used to help set the PIN. (DO NOT ENTER A PIN YET)
12. To set the initial PIN for the software token, please logon to https://view.energy-northwest.com and select VMware Horizon HTML Access.
13. Generate a PIN by entering your username and only the TOKENCODE in the passcode field. (DO NOT ENTER A PIN ON THE WEB PAGE). Once you enter your username and Token Code, click Logon and you should be prompted to generate a PIN.
14. Enter a 4 – 8 numeric PIN in both fields and click OK to assign the PIN to the RSA software token. The PIN must NOT start with a 0.
15. Now that a PIN has been set, select Continue to return to the main logon page.
16. Launch the RSA app on your Android phone again, enter your PIN, and press the arrow > to get your Passcode.
17. Open Internet Explorer on your personal computer, visit https://view.energy-northwest.com, and use the Passcode in the PASSCODE field.
