Quadrilateral Scrapbook

During this quarter, we have been studying quadrilaterals. I want you to see that quadrilaterals are found in the world around you! You will be putting together a website, wiki, powerpoint, video, etc. of where you see these shapes in the world around you. All of your photos must be centered around a theme. (For example, you may want all of your pictures to be of jewelry, paintings, or famous buildings.)

Your digital scrapbook/video/presentation must contain the following:

· A cover page with your name, date, period and a title for your themed scrapbook

· A page for each of the following figures:

o Parallelogram

o Rhombus

o Square

o Rectangle

o Trapezoid/Isosceles Trapezoid

· You must also turn in your completed copy of the property chart you developed in class (our flip book).

Each figure’s page will contain the following:

· A definition of that figure

· A minimum of four examples of that figure as found on websites, magazines, photographs, product labels, etc with the figure somehow highlighted.

· Captions to go with each picture telling what the picture is of and where you found it on the web (include the URL) and how it represents the characteristics of that figure.

Your scrapbook will be graded on:

· Neatness and Creativity (10 points)

· Following Directions (10 points)

· Having all required elements (10 points)

This project will be due on Thursday, December 23rd before you leave for break!
