Procedure To Obtain Passport Via The Mail

PASSPORT PICK-UP PROCEDURES

NOTE: PLEASE CALL US IN THE NEXT 4-6 WEEKS AND GIVE US YOUR MACHINE READABLE PASSPORT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

(Your MRP I.D. # is usually written in red at the top of the receipt)

In order to obtain your passport, please do ONE of the following:

IN OFFICE:

Bring the following with you to pick up your passport

1. Your current passport
2. Original receipt stapled in your passport

OR

THIRD PARTY (Person picking up on your behalf)

The Person picking up the applicant’s passport MUST walk with:

1. Applicant’s current passport
2. Applicant’s Original receipt
3. Letter authorizing person to pick up on your behalf
4. Photo I.D. of person picking up passport on applicant’s behalf

OR

VIA THE MAIL:

1)  Your current passport Trinidad and Tobago passport.

2)  Original Receipt (please keep a copy of the receipt for yourself)

3)  $18.30 Stamp for Post Office Overnight Express (please do not provide metered stamps)

4)  Letter giving the relevant Mission authorization to mail passport to the applicant’s address. (please provide the address)

5)  All documents listed above must also be sent via Post Office Overnight Express to the Mission (i.e Embassy or Consulate) where the application was made
