Childcare is provided for children, 5 years old and younger, during worship services. The service is provided in the nursery located on the main level. Children are not allowed to wander the church unsupervised during worship services. Children benefit from participating in worship with their families and seeing others pray, praise God, and hear the Bible lessons. Thank you for your kind attention.
If you would like to be included in St. Paul’s Prayer Chain, please call the church office. When there are SPUMC prayer concerns we have a prayer chain by either phone call or email. Call the office to participate.
There is a Summer Social sign-up sheet posted on the atrium bulletin board. Families, Friends or Groups are encouraged to participate.
The Saturday morning breakfast group meets at Benny’s Restaurant at 8:00 a.m. Please note time change. Benny’s is located at 15239 S. Dixie Hwy. All men are encouraged to join us for breakfast, spiritual enrichment, and fellowship. Any questions, see Obie Green.
Eve Circle will be sponsoring a Book Sale later this year. Please put aside and save your unwanted books to help us with our effort. We’ll let you know when to bring them in to the church.
MEA-Retired Scholarship Offered. The Michigan Education Association-Retired of Monroe County is offering a $1000.00 scholarship to Monroe County residents pursuing a teaching certificate. To apply you must have completed 30 semester hours or the equivalent at an accredited Michigan Public institution or an institution with a reciprocal agreement. You must provide a one page biographical sketch containing work experience, community activities, educational goals, and experiences important to your life. You must provide official transcripts including any college classes taken while in high school. Scholarship applications may be requested by email at . The deadline for submitting all applications is June 17, 2016. Mail all materials to Monroe County MEA-R Scholarship Committee, 2567 Vivian Rd. Monroe, MI 48162.
Mark your calendars for a special event! Planting Day is just around the corner. This year we will tackle the job on Saturday, May 21st , starting at 9:00 a.m. If we get plenty of help, you can be on your way by 10:00 or 10:30! Bring your trowels and kneeling pads and help

A National Day of Prayer Service is scheduled for Thursday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m. It will be held at Meyer Theater at Monroe Community College. Pastor Bentley will be participating along with many other area church leaders.
