OFFERTORY PRAYER
Pray with me:
Lord, You are the ever-loving, ever-giving Source of all things.
You have given us strength to walk and not faint,
to run and not be weary,
to soar as eagles under your watchful eye.
In response to that kind of care, we have brought these offerings.
Teach us that even when everything is not going our way,
when our income has dried up,
our vehicles have broken down beside the road…
Even then, we need to remember to rejoice in You
because You are indeed the God of our Salvation.
We who have much, have much for which to be grateful.
Accept now these tithes and these offerings…
symbols of our appreciation
given gladly to You on this day. Amen.
