2018 Positive Reinforcement Gun Dog Training

This is MN NAVHDA’s offering on positive reinforcement techniques as they apply to gun dog training. Topics to be covered will include how positive reinforcement works, teaching your dog to pay attention, recall (here), heel, loose leash walking, sit, down, whoa, and leave it. Dogs as young as 12 weeks will be allowed in this class. Younger dogs may be allowed with permission of the instructor. Handlers under 16 years old will require parental supervision. The class will be limited to 15 participants.
All dogs that are old enough must have proof of current rabies vaccinations to be presented with your application.
