Salary: $95,688- $112,640 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation

Purpose of the position

The Australian Financial Security Authority (AFSA) is the agency responsible for managing the application of bankruptcy and personal property securities laws through the delivery of high quality personal insolvency and trustee, regulation and enforcement, and personal property securities services.

The Technical Systems Administrator, will lead, mentor and upskill corporate systems team members to develop, enhance, maintain, manage and report the AFSA corporate systems function to internal and external stakeholders and proactively manage the achievements of corporate system requirements. They will provide technical solutions to support and deliver operational management to AFSA corporate systems function in line with required legislation and policy framework to support the achievement of AFSA’s strategic vision and objectives

Key responsibilities

Accountabilities

· Provides expert level technical systems administration for TechnologyOne to ensure efficient and effective running of financial systems through financial transformation phases, business as usual, enhancements, system reviews and other opportunities as arises.

· Perform corporate systems duties and provide technical expertise to ensure accurate interpretation and application of legislation, corporate systems policies and procedures in operational context across the AFSA corporate systems.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of corporate systems policies, processes and practices to ensure efficient and effective finance, payroll and human resource operations.

· Engage with, manage and provide high quality service and support to internal and external stakeholders

· Contribute to the corporate systems team by:

o Assisting the Assistant Director to deliver at the strategic level

o Encouraging and supporting of ongoing learning and development opportunities

o Providing regular feedback

o Identifying opportunities to enhance team performance in an environment of collaboration, continuous improvement and change.

Using specialist TechnologyOne technical systems administration expertise and diverse stakeholder relationships to ensure ongoing management and oversight of the organisations corporate systems is efficient and effective.

Contributes to innovation, change and continuous improvement by utilising knowledge to identify and implement best practice solutions. Maximise the capability of the organisations corporate systems, to optimise operational capacity and support the organisations diverse and changing work environment.

Financial Management

Demonstrates specialist in-depth knowledge, ensures effective performance and service delivery of financial operations functions in accordance with policies and legislative requirements and provides tactical direction to achieve organisational financial objectives.

Innovation and process improvement

Monitors operational practices, advises on, develops and implements best practice procedures and guidelines that support continuous improvement.

Legislative Interpretation and Application

Applies high level understanding to ensure compliance with corporate governance, legislative requirements, industry codes, and best practice standards and provides technically accurate information that can be relied upon and referred to by stakeholders at all experience levels.

Stakeholder Liaison and Management

Manages and promotes collaborative and cooperative interactions across operational areas of the business and external stakeholders to facilitate open communication, education, discussion and cooperation between stakeholders to achieve desired goals

Position qualifications

· Tertiary Qualification in Accounting, Commerce or equivalent; or working towards.

· High level systems administration experience with TechnologyOne specifically, CPM, Financials, SCM, Travel and Expense, Contracts, of 5 years or more.
