Senior Internal Audit Services Specialist (R15-085)

The Internal Audit Services (IAS) Specialist V position will perform a lead role on the IAS team to independently and objectively conduct internal audits and consultations in support of the IAS plan. Primary focus will be working collaboratively in support of the Company’s finance and related functions, including Power Operations, with assignments transcending a variety of functional areas. The position will lead the IAS team’s support of the Company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance program and develop strategic audit plans in support of Power Operations and other client support areas.

Top candidates will have:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or equivalent.

· Active CPA. A CIA, CISA or CRMA are a plus.

· Typically at least eight years of experience with progression (i.e. complexity of roles or responsibilities assumed).

· Experience to include a combination of public accounting and/or internal audit (SEC clients).

· Experience in trading and derivatives accounting and reporting a plus.

· Strong competencies in accounting, auditing and control frameworks, tools and techniques.

· Proficient use of Microsoft programs.

· ACL and TeamMate experience a plus.

· Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects effectively, including establishing project goals, tracking status and communicating final results/recommendations.

· Strong work ethic and commitment to achievement of individual, team and company goals.

· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Ability to travel occasionally within PGE service area and generation facilities.
