09/2008---12/2010: Research Assistant in the research of Breach mechanics and risk analysis of dam and embankment under complicated conditions（National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program) (Grant No. 2007CB714102)）.
Collected undisturbed soil sample and did in-situ test to obtain the basic parameters such as horizontal and vertical stresses, osmotic coefficient of the levee and analyzed their trends.
Indoor basic geotechnical tests, such as direct shear test, consolidation test, and triaxial test
Simulated the process of piping with PFC 3D and got the critical factors to further study development of piping.
