PORTABLE COMPUTER POLICY
Portable computers are a business tool that CareStat, LLC provides employees the ability to work both in the office and away from the office at remote locations or at home. The benefits and productivity enhancements as well as the conveniences of portable computers are widely known. But, they are provided as a business tool and not for personal use.
Portable computers and its accessories are the property of CareStat, LLC and MUST be returned in their exact state upon separation from service. Lost, stolen, or damaged portable computers are the responsibility of the employee.
Please take note that if for any reason, a portable computer is lost, stolen, or damaged the value of the computer and its accessories will be deducted from your wages. Each
portable computer and accessories has been given a value of $_________. Company computers include proprietary software and data that is NOT to be shared with any other person or company. (The amount below for the air card is in addition to the value of the computer and its accessories).
