Patient Skills Sheet

To review basal rates:

1. Press ACT button

2. Press down arrow to highlight “basal”

3. Press ACT button

4. Press down arrow to highlight “basal review”

5. Press ACT button

6. Scroll ­¯ to review basal rates

To review the last bolus:

1. Press ESC button to see the last bolus amount, date and time

To review previous boluses:

1. Press ACT button

2. Press ACT button again

3. Press down arrow to highlight “bolus history”

4. Press ACT button

5. Each press of the down arrow shows the next previous bolus

To stop or suspend the pump:

1. Press ACT button

2. Press down arrow to highlight “suspend”

3. Press ACT button

4. Press ACT button again to suspend the pump

To restart or take out of suspend:

1. Press ACT button

2. Press ACT button again to resume the pump

Pump alarms:

1. Read what the alarm screen says

2. Press ESC button

3. Press ACT button

4. Take the corrective actions

5 A 24 hour 1-800# is available on the back of the pump for any problems encountered

A dark circle before the time means NO insulin is being delivered. An open circle before the time means the AAA battery is low, the reservoir is low, or a special feature is activated.
