Use the facts that you gathered to write the “Information Section “ to the Owl Pellet Lab. This will be a 3 paragraph “mini research paper” without an introduction or conclusion. The Informations section is a part of a lab, not a stand alone writing piece (that’s why no intro or conclusion!).

Here are some hints and ideas….

~ Each “Section” from your Fact sheet is a paragraph. So…

Questions 1,2,3 in the first paragraph

Question 4 in the second paragraph

Questions 5,6,7 in the third paragraph

~ The better and more detailed your paragraphs, the better your grade will be –

but don’t plagiarize!

Give some supporting details, interesting facts, etc. with each answer.

~ Use transitions as paragraph starters. For example;

(But you can’t use mine listed below!!!)

Barn Owls are very interesting creatures.

The way the digestive system of a Barn Owl works is why a pellet is made.

Barn Owls are very good hunters.

~ You are responsible for a proper (formal) works consulted turned in with your

information section.

Your works consulted should NOT be on a separate sheet of paper, but added after your 3rd paragraph.
