CMDCM(SW/EXW)JAMIE HAMILTON

Master Chief Petty Officer Jamie Hamilton hails from Woodbine, GA and graduated in 1992 from Camden County High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in April 1993 and attended Recruit Training Command and Seaman Apprenticeship Training in Orlando, FL. His initial tour was a split tour aboard the USS WARRIOR (MCM-4), followed by the USS CHAMPION (MCM-10) in Ingleside TX, where he served as Leading Boatswain’s Mate. In 1997, he reported as the First Lieutenant Work Center Supervisor at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, TX.

In 2000, he reported to the USS HALYBURTON (FFG-40) as Deck Division’s Leading Petty Officer.

In 2004, he then reported to Naval Air Station Jacksonville, FL serving as the Boat Division Officer and Deputy Port Operations Program Director. He was promoted to Chief Petty Officer in 2006.

In 2007, he reported to the USS GETTYSBURG (CG-64), to serve as the Leading Chief Petty Officer of Deck Division. It was here that he completed a six month deployment in support of Counter-Piracy Operations and was selected to Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2009.

In 2011, he reported to Coastal Riverine Squadron THREE where he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for DELTA Company Detachment and selected for the Command Senior Chief Program and then promoted to Master Chief Petty Officer.

He is a graduate of the Air Force Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (Class 11-A) and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course (Class 130).

Master Chief Hamilton’s personal decorations include the Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal (eight awards), Good Conduct Medal (five awards) and various unit and campaign awards.
