Trinity Sunday

[Offertory Sentences/ Benediction]

God the Father has made us in His image; with that kind of creativity, we set out to please Him with all our efforts to bring His kingdom to the earth… and especially to this town.

Christ the Son has redeemed us by the giving of His life; with that kind of generosity, we bring our tithes and offerings to extend the kingdom on earth… and especially to this town.

The comforting Holy Spirit has come to live within us and among us; with that kind of gentleness, we give care and comfort to one another as our way of expressing the kingdom among the peoples of the earth… and especially in this town.

You ask, “Whom shall I send? Who will go?” In our giving and in our living, we answer, “Here we are; send us!

Suggestions:

Instead of using “this town” in each statement, use the name of your city. (e.g. “and especially here in Knoxville.”

In the service, use “Lord, Here Am I”, “Here Am I, Send Me”

Offertory Prayer for Trinity Sunday

Lord, on this Trinity Sunday we come to make our offerings to you -- the Father who made us, to your Son Jesus who redeems us, and to your Holy Spirit who empowers us.

Please accept these tithes and offerings as symbols of our love for you and our commitment to support your Kingdom’s work here on this corner and around the world.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, we offer this prayer.

Amen.
