OF THE SUPREME COURT

9:30 a.m. Nicholas S. King et. al. v. Northeast Security Inc, and
Metropolitan School District of Washington Township
King, a student at North Central High School, was allegedly assaulted by other students in a school parking lot. The Marion Superior Court entered summary judgment in favor of the school and the firm that provided certain security services on the campus. The Court of Appeals reversed the summary judgment for the school, but affirmed the summary judgment for the security firm. See King v. Northeast Security, Inc., 732 N.E.2d 824 (Ind. Ct. App. 2000). The order setting the case for argument invited argument on the school’s motion for summary judgment. Attorney for King: C. Dennis Wegner. Attorney for Northeast Security: Andrew Wirick. Attorney for Washington Township: David Mattingly.
