Cover Design Options
o Simple Design ~ $150 front cover only, $200 full cover*
A simple design includes up to 3 hours of work. Most contemporaries, non-fiction, and many historical covers that primarily use stock photography are simple designs.
o Complex Design ~ $250 front cover only, $300 full cover*
A complex design is required when I have to digitally manipulate photos to create appropriate costuming, which results in 3+ hours.
o Photo Shoot ~ Pricing will depend on costume rentals, model fees, and photographer fees.
*If you want a full cover for print copies, the first step is the front cover; you can absolutely go with a front cover only design to start with and then ask me for a full cover at a later date for the $50 extra. Printers will have templates available for full cover designs which allow me to make sure spine width and bleed are correct; I just ask you to email me the files you can download or provide me with a link.
o Promo Images ~ + $50 (for all the images you could want, not individually)

Interior Design Options
o Interior Layout Design ~ $200
This is set-up for a print book, complete with custom title page, headers, flourishes for section breaks, and stylized chapter headings.
o Kindle/ePub formatting ~ $50/hr
Most of the time, it only takes an hour to do Kindle formatting; occasionally it might take two, if the formatting is inconsistent and requires that I go through it line by line.
You will also be receiving a Cover Questionnaire – this is your chance to tell me exactly what you want! You’re also welcome to visit sites like www.shutterstock.com, www.istockphoto.com, www.dreamstime.com, or other stock photo sites to help search for that perfect image for your cover. Up to $40 of images are included in the package price; if you decide on an image that’s more than that, the excess will be listed separately on the final invoice. If your cover requires a photo shoot (which is possible but obviously more expensive), pricing will vary based on costume, model, and photographer expenses, all of which will be cleared with you ahead of time.
NOTE – for any design, I will create a title page for you to match your cover’s title font treatment. No extra fee.
