On a large sheet of white construction paper carefully trace a map of New Jersey. Then do these things:
1. Write the names of these cities and the town in the correct places on the map: Newark,
Elizabeth, Paterson, Trenton, Camden, and New Providence
2. Color where Union County is located.
3. Draw and label these rivers in the correct places:
Passaic River, Delaware River, Hudson River, Toms River, and Raritan River
4. Draw and label these lakes and bays:
Delaware Bay, Barnegat Bay, Lake Hopatcong, and Union Lake
5. Label the Atlantic Ocean.
6. Write the name Kittatinny Mountains where they are located and draw and label where High Point is located.
7. Divide the map into the four main land regions using a pen or narrow marker. Write the names of the land regions inside each one.
8. Write the names of the bordering states on the map in the correct places.
