New Jersey Department of Transportation

The New Jersey Department of Transportation is holding a pre-bid

meeting on March 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM for the following project:

Route U.S. 1 & 9 (Pulaski Skyway) Contract 7, Contract No. 051123290,
Deck Replacement, Superstructure & Substructure Rehabilitation
City of Jersey City, Hudson County & City of Newark, Essex County

This project will replace the existing bridge deck of the southbound Newark off-ramp, and will address superstructure and substructure rehabilitation of the Newark Ramp. The project will also address superstructure and substructure rehabilitation of on mainline Pulaski Skyway at the eastern end from the eastern abutment to Pier 44 and the western end from Pier 98 to the western abutment. The project will also address lighting, balustrade replacement, drainage connections, ITS components, retaining wall construction and will mill and pave the southern approaches to the Skyway.

The project advertisement date is anticipated to be March 16, 2017. Bids will be received on April 13, 2017.

Bid dates is subject to change by addenda.

A Pre-Bid meeting will be held for this project on March 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM. The meeting will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room at NJDOT’s Main Headquarters located at 1035 Parkway Avenue, Trenton, New Jersey.
