Subject: Five Regional Temperature and Precipitation Tables
(RTPs) to cover New York state and parts of Vermont
and Connecticut effective January 19, 2016
Effective Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at 8 am Eastern Standard
Time (EST), 1200 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), the NWS
Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Albany, NY (ALY) will stop
including RTP information for observation sites outside its
area of responsibility. Instead, this information will be
found within RTP products issued by the four surrounding WFOs:
Binghamton, NY (BGM)
Burlington, VT (BTV)
Buffalo, NY, (BUF)
New York, NY (OKX).
WFO ALY will continue sending temperature and precipitation
data for its area of responsibility.
The specific locations and associated communication headers
for the RTP information are:
