NDPC-SD Web Site
Annual Activity Summary for 2006

The NDPC-SD Web site continues to be hosted by Clemson University, on a Windows 2003 server maintained by the university’s Division of Computing and Information Technology (DCIT). As part of the services provided by the university, statistical information on Web site activities is collected and made available using LiveSTATS, a web-based application produced by Deepmetrix. In the May 2006, a new version of LiveSTATS was installed by DCIT, which made it possible to collect and report significantly more detailed information on visitor activities.

On September 1, 2006, the hosting location for the NDPC-SD Web site was moved from a sub-directory of the NDPC/N site to its own top-level directory. At the same time, a new primary URL—http://www.ndpc-sd.org—was introduced for the NDPC-SD site, and this new URL was advertised on outgoing correspondence. The NDPC-SD site is still reachable from the NDPC Portal page (http://www.dropoutprevention.org). To prevent the loss of visitors using URLs for the old site, forwarding rules were put in place to redirect all requests to the corresponding URL on the new site.

Presented below are summary data for Web visitor activity on the NDPC-SD site for the calendar year 2006.
