Good luck to the Wildcat baseball and softball teams who are hosting SE Valley (Gowrie) tonight. 5:00 p.m. for baseball. 5:30 for softball. Varsity will play first in both with JV to follow.

WCV Little League Baseball is looking for student umpires for its Monday or Thursday games this summer. If you are interested in this position, contact Chris Partlow at

The Stuart Public Library is looking for student/adult volunteers for their summer reading program. They are looking for readers during June and early July on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. If you would be interested, please contact Holly Partlow at the library.
Come detassel with Gary & Linda Thompson! Pay is up to $13 an hour with bonus money too! Last year, the people that worked all 15 days earned an average of $1380 and three of the days were very short! The season is usually during the last two weeks of July, and the Thompson’s bus will pick you up in your town. DuPont Pioneer in Dallas Center is looking for summer workers to help with corn pollinating during the months of July and August. Starting pay is $9.25/hour. $$NEW BONUS STRUCTURE$$ in place this year and all onboarding will be done onsite by DuPont Pioneer in Dallas Center. Guthrie County is looking for Guthrie County Fair Queen candidates: Open to young ladies 16-21 years of age. $300 scholarship prize. See the pink posters around school if interested.
The West Central Valley Booster Club is now taking donations for its annual White Pole Road Garage Sale in June. Bring items to donate to the high school.
