-Serve as sole division SCBA technician, and ensure proper functioning of vital life support equipment for work in environments that are hazardous to life. Responsible for equipment inventory with value in excess of $100000.
-Routinely ride out of class as shift officer, and has experience as initial incident commander on multiple fire and EMS assignments.
-Completed 1 year study of CVA, MI, and Cardiac Arrests in District in conjunction with Regional Medical Centers, identified both strengths and weaknesses of division EMS response, and provided recommendations for improvement. Awarded 2012-2013 Knights of Columbus Blue Coat of the year for the state of Ohio. Awarded Columbus Division of Fire Public Safety Officer Award of Excellence for 2014.
